Completing an order
by A scientists life in Eve on Jul.05, 2012, under Eve online
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on an order that I completed earlier this week. I was very pleased to receive the order from fellow blogger, and generally scary lo-sec pirate, Kirith Darkblade.
The order, a mixture of ships and modules, was safely delivered to Hevrice, contracts put up and completed – ISK safely received. During the process, I also (albeit briefly) got to speak with some of the more famous members of the Tuskers including the likes of Rixx Javix.
One thing that struck me above all else was the professionalism these guys displayed, right up to a flashy red Scimatar undocking to put reps on my cyno kestrel while the cyno cycle slowly counted down.
As part of this exercise, I brought in a consignment of boosters to seed the Hevrice market. There were some obvious gaps in the initial supply, which are being worked on at the moment.
After completing that, I took a whole bunch of miscellaneous stuff to Jita to clear out a couple of cans. Although I can find Jita very annoying at times, there simply isn’t anywhere else you can take your unwanted stuff to and find a buyer who’s prepared to pay more than 1 ISK per item.
On to the next set of production now, as a Thanatos and Nidhoggur are about to pop out of the cooker, to be immediately followed by another of each. I also have two Archons in production at the moment, one of which I’m working of a fit for, as my Logistics alt will be using this as his Triage Archon. He’s currently about 5 days away from completing Amarr Carrier V, and then it’s Fighters V.
I’ll then round off some more drone skills before a remap and then it’s the Capital repair and remote repair skills all to V, which should make him a rather good carrier pilot. Maybe I’ll have saved up enough to be able to buy an Archon Aeon* for him at that stage, although I’m still unsure about the issues of not being able to dock. Ever.
* Edited following comments highlighting my obvious fail. I’ve got Archons on my thoughts too much at the moment, as I’m building them and EFT’ing them to death at the moment. Clearly, as the commenters noted, I’m referring to saving up for an Aeon, not an Archon – which is already in production for me!

Archon’s can dock, it’s aeons that can’t just FYI (capital vs super capital)
You can still dock carriers and dreadnoughts, it’s only super carriers and Titan’s that aren’t allowed to dock.
Did you mean Aeon? Pretty sure non-super capitals can dock, dude. :p
Yeah I fail – post edited to reflect that I was actually talking about Aeon’s not being able to dock.
